Chronology
Uncover the secret of a town in the American heartland that imprisoned all who entered. As residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. The site known as Beaver Bank Villa has a long history and many years ago housed housing units, a community hall, fire station, school, church, store, etc. (all demolished in 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s.

Definitely very cool
I’ve been loving this show so far and the acting, mysteries, etc. However, I’m starting to get a little worried that this show is getting too close to the „Lost“ vibe. It was also a fantastic show in terms of acting, directing, etc. In the end, what bothered me was how much mystery there was for the sake of being mysterious.

Watching season 2, I was constantly feeling a little annoyed every time another strange case came up. mainly because I can’t stop thinking, „Is this going to matter somehow in the long run? Is it just one of those there – mysterious mist creature, hatch, or light, etc. It’s never mentioned or explained in any way, ever because this type of mystery writing ends up annoying me because the writer can just pull out absolutely anything and never come back to it.
