The town was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia
Chronology
Uncover the mystery of a Midwestern town that traps anyone who enters it. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats posed by the surrounding forest. The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago contained housing, a community hall, fire station, school, church, grocery store, etc.
A rope is lowered to him
(all demolished in 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base, which operated in the 1950s and 1960s. Only the paved streets and walkways remain, and an artificial city has been built on top of it. When Boyd passes under a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well.
The rope was not thrown by Martin
When Boyd emerges from the well, Martin is the only person in the room and is chained to the wall. Featured in Half in the Bag: 2022 Mid-Year Catch-Up Part 1 (TV Shows) (2022). Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans Performed by The Pixies.
It was very exciting before, but now it’s become a drama, which seems inappropriate
Seasons 1 and 2 were great, but they unnecessarily lengthen the episodes in Season 3, which is annoying. The Season 3 episode was good, but then they built up to certain moments that didn’t connect us emotionally to the situation and I mostly found myself wading through unwanted conversations with the characters. I think after the first episode of Season 3, the remaining 8 episodes can actually be compressed to a maximum of 3 episodes.
Maybe they have plans for next season
But this method of stretching episodes is not ideal because most fans find it boring, including me. I hope they fix this problem next season.
