The More You Know, The Less You Know The trailer for this was amazing, the actual movie is better than the trailer in many ways. All three main protagonists were incredibly well acted, the mise en scene gave you the appropriate sense of claustrophobia & it would be a great theatrical performance Religion & Faith is at the heart of the story and the filmmakers have created an incredible journey where you, the audience, sometimes feel like you know more than the missionaries, but there are many dead ends in this mousetrap and you never fully understand what you are seeing.
The musical score was so apt, it is all about faith
As you know, I don’t do spoilers, but there is so much symbolism in this film, the board game play is most obvious because you have a preconceived idea of the roles Hugh Grant plays and the English accent makes him sound so believable, but like a leaky roof, he drips information on you as the film progresses, it is worth seeing if you like Hitchcockian mystery thrillers. Pad.
