Alana Higman, a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and her family are competing to win the team’s Fan of the Year, as judged by Derrick, Director of Fan Engagement. The movie was filmed in the historic Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, which actually looks like that all year long. The locations that served as the Higman Family Store and Norma and Nick’s BBQ Restaurant are also family-owned businesses in real life.

The square also has Christmas lights just like in the movie. sorry, but where the hell was Christmas??? I thought this movie was awful!!
Hallmark really pushed this on us all to expect – what a huge failure!
I know a lot of people will roll their eyes when they read this review, but that’s just my opinion. I think the actors did a good job with what they had to work with, but what really got me was right at the beginning where the main characters are sitting around a campfire and at some point they stand up and suddenly hold hands… No, that’s not what’s happening, there was very little buildup at that moment to create a hand.
The CGI or whatever it’s called was clearly fake
The fact that the lead actress believed so much in the hat was nothing short of absurd, she was ready to throw away her potential life partner in the blink of an eye. Really? As another reviewer pointed out, it was truly a mistake and a super duper disaster!
Sorry Hallmark, you missed the mark with this one
I gave the acting a 6, some of the parts were okay, especially with the grandfather, I thought he was cute.
